Winkler, MB – On Tuesday, August 14, 2018, Candice Bergen, Conservative House Leader and MP for Portage-Lisgar, stopped by Artspan in Winkler for a tour and to learn more about the products the company produces.

“I was delighted to pay a visit to Artspan again as it has been a few years since I toured the facility,” stated Bergen.  “The company has excelled the last few years and was recently acquired by WGI Westman Group.  I was amazed to learn about their structural insulated steel panels which were invented by the late Art Paetkau. They are resilient to mold and fire, and are used for residential and commercial building envelopes and in their unique Teleshop.  I know that Art would be proud of the amazing work that Artspan is doing.”

Earlier in the day MP Bergen also met with local farmers who brought up issues that are affecting southern Manitoba like trade, the US tariffs, and the illegal border crossers.
